Addepar 101: Introduction to Addepar
This 1-day, in-person training focuses on building skills in Addepar and welcoming you to the Addepar family. We spend the day including you to navigating the software, analyzing portfolios, and building reports. We also bring in guest speakers to introduce you to our history, our values, how we support you and your firm, and our future.
More comprehensive than QuickStart, Addepar 101 is your introduction to everything Addepar. Through lectures, demonstrations, guest speakers, and hands-on exercises, this course will enable you to comfortably navigate the Addepar platform. You’ll also learn about our development process and the services we offer to ensure your success.
Addepar 200 Series: Power Users
This 3-day offering, hosted both online and in person each month, will help you become a “Power User,” who understands both how to complete a wide range of tasks in Addepar, and how to design the system to meet the unique needs of your firm.
Participants can enroll in any combination of courses, or register for all three to build personal expertise and empower your business. The 200 series includes 3 courses: Portfolio Analysis, Data Management, and Client Reporting & Communication. Portfolio Analysis covers the full suite of navigation features while also teaching you to leverage them to solve real problems. In Data Management you’ll learn to make Addepar your own by designing ownership structures, managing attributes, and modeling alternatives. The techniques covered include using both the application and the Addepar Excel Import tool. And our Client Reporting & Communication course is a half day capstone that allows you to use your new skills to create scalable and beautiful reports.
is a Training Manager who works with new and seasoned users in their Addejourney as they learn and explore the Addepar software. Alfredo began his time with Addepar as an Analyst in the Support Team assisting users in navigating the state of the art financial software. He spent 5 years in retail banking and graduated with his B.S. Finance from Westminster College. Alfredo completed his Reserve Officers’ Training Corps at the University of Utah and is a 2nd Lieutenant in the Utah Army National Guard where he serves as a Platoon Leader in a Military Intelligence Battalion. Anywhere he goes, Alfredo finds great fulfillment in establishing relationships with the people he meets. Alfredo and his wife enjoy being parents to two daughters. He is always finding new ways to stay active while exploring beautiful Utah.
started at Addepar in 2018 as an analyst on the Support Team. During his tenure on the team, Drew worked closely with both clients and internal teams, becoming deeply familiar with the intricacies of the software. Prior to his role as a Support Analyst, Drew worked for 2 years as a Risk Analyst at Goldman Sachs. There, he was responsible for creating reports to support Leveraged Lending analytics. Drew holds a BS in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance from Brigham Young University - Idaho. In his free time, Drew enjoys being active, trying new restaurants, and watching the NBA & NFL.
Michelle Snow is a training consultant with Addepar. Prior to her role at Addepar, Michelle was a training coordinator with FAST Enterprises. Michelle was with FAST for 3 years where she assisted with the software implementation and training of hundreds of people across the United States. Prior to FAST, Michelle worked for StormWind Studios and the New York Stock Exchange. Michelle has lived across the country in Colorado, California, Arizona, Utah, Minnesota, Nebraska and Georgia. In her free time Michelle likes traveling, spending time with family and participating in sports.
Steff Jensen is a Training Consultant who first started at Addepar in 2020 as an Analyst on the Support Team. She quickly learned how to navigate Addepar’s state of the art financial software during her tenure on the Support Team, and quickly became a SME. Prior to Addepar, she worked at Goldman Sachs for two years as a Client Implementation Specialist. There, she learned the intricacies of various account types and ownership structures; and she became familiar with FATCA, VOLKER, FINRA, FINCEN (CDD), and KYC regulations. Steff holds a BS in Economics with a minor in Business Management from Brigham Young University. In her free time, Steff enjoys being outside, trying new restaurants, and reading.
